By now, most slot fans like me are probably familiar with Cat Wilde and her adventures around the world. The Lara Croft-like heroine and explorer developed by Play’n GO has taken players on all kinds of adventures worldwide. But, it seems like the Peruvian Andes and the Incas are the perfect setting for her quests, as seen in Cat Wilde and the Incan Quest.
The Play’n GO adventure retains some of the things that made the other slots great while introducing welcome changes. Those include two bonus mini-games and a respins round to boot. This might very well be the best Cat Wilde adventure, set deep in a forest brimming with long-lost and hidden riches. It’s quite a dangerous ride, too. You’ll help Wilde to navigate the tricky terrain, as you can be sure the Incas didn’t just leave treasures out in the open without a few traps.
A 10-payline slot of high volatility, it has a 5x3 setup and an RTP of 96.20%. The slot’s real highlights are the three fixed jackpots and the falling wilds and respins. Read my review of Cat Wilde and the Incan Quest below and see why this adventure is worth a try at the best real money casinos.
If there’s one thing that characterizes all Play’n GO slots, it’s the great graphics. Cat Wilde and the Incan Quest are no different. It perfectly entwines amazing visuals and audio with great storytelling, setting the explorer on a new and dark adventure. It’s not a surprise that the developer chose the Incas, as their history is deep and rich enough, not to mention mysterious, for such an adventure.
When it comes to the layout and design, there are no surprises there. It’s a 5x3 slot with ten lines set against a jungle and some temple ruins. You can easily pick a bet with the tool beneath the reels. The jungle wildlife populates the reels, so you’ll see deadly jaguars, beautiful—and even deadlier—snakes, Cat herself, and some totems. It all spins an ominous tale together with the audio, and that’s the way I like it.
It didn’t hit the jackpots, but the coin prizes were more than satisfactory.
Playing the Cat Wilde and the Incan Quest online slot requires you to place a bet first. As usual, the betting tool is beneath the reels. You can choose between 10c and $100 per spin. Choose a bet you like and hit the spin button on the right. The math model is simple – you need three or more matching symbols for a winning combination. A wild idol can step in to complete or improve winning combinations, landing on reels 2, 3, and 4 only. Cat Wilde is the highest-paying symbol, delivering payouts of 200x the bet for five.
Whenever a wild lands, it can trigger the Falling Wild respins. As the name suggests, all wilds will then start falling one position down the grid until they’re off the reels. More falling wilds can land on the reels, triggering more respins. The respins end when there are no more wilds on the reels. If a wild falls in the same spot over another, it will expand and cover the reel in full.
You can see a bonus meter on the left side of the grid. All bonus gems that land on the reels are collected. You need 3 of these to start the bonus round. When that happens, the grid turns to 15 individual reels with the three gems put in random positions. This feature plays out like a Hold & Win bonus round, with nothing but scatters on the reels.
When a new scatter lands, it resets the tally back to three respins. The gems carry values between x2 and x10. If you manage to fill rows with gems, you’ll get one of the jackpot awards. Their values are displayed above the reels, and it’s clear that you should keep your fingers crossed for the Mega reward (1,000x).
And that’s not the only bonus in the Cat Wilde and the Incan Quest slot. Landing three, four, or five scatters awards six, seven, or nine bonus spins. Each falling wild during the bonus round covers the reel it lands on, granting respins in the process.
There’s no bonus buy slots feature, so you’ll have to wait and trigger the bonus round organically.
Cat Wilde and the Incan Quest aims to become my favorite explorer’s slot. It’s packed with a bonus action, offering respins and free spins. That and the falling wilds made the slot a great adventure that I can gladly recommend.
It may not pay the most in the series, but it’s great fun to play. During my playthrough, I only managed to get the respins round a couple of times. It didn’t hit the jackpots, but the coin prizes were more than satisfactory. As for the bonus round, there’s no bonus buy, but the guide offers more information on what it offers.
The Cat Wilde and the Incan Quest slot RTP is set to 96.20%. That’s the average for highly volatile slots in Play’n GO’s catalog. The maximum projected win is 5,000x the bet.
Those looking for a cool adventure in jungle ruins shouldn’t look past Cat Wilde and the Incan Quest. The slot may offer no specials in the base game, but the bonus spins and respins are more than worth a try. It’s a game that’s easy to play, looks and sounds great, and offers decent winning potential. In short, it checked all the boxes in my book and may do so in yours.
If you’re looking for something similar, Cat Wilde and the Lost Chapter get close. All the Cat Wilde adventures by Play’n GO are fun to play at top casino sites, but if you want a male lead, you should go for the Book of Dead series.

Of course. The bonus round is triggered by at least three scatters. During the bonus, all falling wilds expand to cover the reel. This can grant respin after respin, which essentially means neverending bonus action. With jackpots in the mix, it’s as rewarding as it gets.
The RTP is set to 96.20%. That’s right about the average for Play’n GO slots of high volatility. It works in synergy with the math model and the hit rate, offering decent prizes across the board. There’s no bonus buy feature, so you can’t get a higher RTP if you pay more.
