Las Vegas' Most 'Instagrammable' Casinos

When it comes to visiting Vegas, it's arguably the selfie planet of the world. We say arguably, that title actually belongs to Makati City in Manila. Nonetheless, with the number of people who travel to Vegas every year, a figure that reached 55.4 million in 2023, there are likely hundreds of millions, if not billions, of photos taken in Sin City.

And that got us thinking: what is Vegas best known for? Casinos, of course. And that just happens to be our specialty, whether land-based or online casino sites. So, who better to decide which is the most Instagrammable casino in Las Vegas, Nevada?

Of course to do this, we have to dig into the data. We couldn't just pick our own favorites (even though we wanted to), because there was too much subjectivity involved. Instead, we wanted to let you, the people, the casino visitors, decide.

Which is the Most Instagrammable Casino In Las Vegas?

To decipher this, we wanted to gauge various hashtags and location tags to represent a fair result. Below are the full results.

There are no huge surprises here, with the iconic Bellagio, MGM Grand, and Caesars Palace all performing very well in this study. The Bellagio claims the No.1 spot, mainly due to the infamous Bellagio fountains with a whopping 262,000 hashtags. Bellagio itself is tagged over 2 million times, but strangely enough, the location tags for this casino were markedly lower at just 21,200 compared to 1.3 million for the MGM Grand.

RankCasinoHashtag/Location Tags
1Bellagio2,874,200
2MGM Grand2,220,200
3Caesars Palace1,781,000
4Wynn Las Vegas1,389,800
5The Cosmopolitan1,309,000
6Mandalay Bay1,189,300
7The Venetian1,186,000
8Paris Las Vegas871,000
9New York, New York622,900
10The Mirage526,200
11Luxor477,100
12Flamingo461,600
13Palazzo Resort418,300
14Red Rock Casino175,000
15Park MGM58,600
16Excalibur50,000

Speaking of which, the MGM Grand was the second most Instagrammable casino in Vegas for 2024. As mentioned, a staggering 1.3 million people have tagged the MGM Resorts property in their location on Instagram, and a further 922,000 hashtags have been added to boot.

Caesars Palace rounded off the top three. Paris Las Vegas, home of the world's second-biggest Eiffel Tower, ranked 8th overall, perhaps surprising given their photogenic landmark. Likewise, the Luxor, which boasts a replica of the Sphinx in Egypt, could only manage an 11th-place finish.

So there you have it. Not everyone goes to a casino to play blackjack or roulette; some people just want to add another tile to their Instagram collection. And while some people may feel one slot is luckier than another, similarly, some selfie spots seem to trump the rest. Different strokes for different folks, I guess.
