Odds On Who The Paul Brothers Will Fight Next

Jake Paul has been in the news a lot in the past couple of weeks, for the build-up and then aftermath of his controversial fight against Mike Tyson.

Paul breezed to victory via unanimous decision against Iron Mike—one of the greatest boxers of all time—but many criticised the bout due to the 31-year age gap and because Tyson was wearing a knee brace and hadn't long recovered from a stomach issue that nearly killed him.

Tyson landed just 18 punches over the eight rounds, compared to Paul's 78. However, it was a great payday for the pair.

Paul is estimated to have earned around $40 million from the brawl, while Tyson is reported to have taken home about $20 million.

Will Paul opt for another big payday when choosing his next opponent, or will he opt for more of a challenge?

Paul vs. KSI?

One potential fight that has long been speculated about is Paul vs. KSI. KSI hasn't fought anyone since his defeat to Tommy Fury, who also beat Jake, just over a year ago, but it would be fitting to see the pair face off.

Odds On Who Jake Paul Will Fight Next

KSI

11/10

Tommy Fury

6/4

Logan Paul

2/1

Gervonta Davis

3/1

Francis Ngannou

4/1

Canelo Alvarez

6/1

Darren Till

7/1

Artur Beterbiev

8/1

Conor McGregor

 9/1

Nate Diaz

10/1

Jorge Masvidal

12/1

Carl Froch

16/1

Jake, whose nickname is The Problem Child, could wreak some revenge on his older brother Logan Paul's behalf after KSI defeated his now-business partner in 2019.

While this would certainly be a popular bout on social media, if Jake is looking to give his boxing credentials a real test, then this doesn't appear to be the ideal next brawl for him. Despite this, KSI is the 11/10 favourite to be Jake's next opponent, while a rematch with Fury is 6/4.

After Jake's payday against Tyson, could Paul try to wreak revenge on Fury?

Since making his professional boxing debut in 2020, he has an 11-1 record, with the only loss coming against Fury in February 2023, and he may want to right that wrong. However, Jake would have to be patient.

Fury has a fight booked for January against Darren Till, but it wouldn't be a huge surprise if Jake faced the winner afterwards.

Jake's Tough Test

However, if he wants to move on from the Tyson controversy and fight someone closer to his 27 years, there are several potential candidates.

Jake has admitted he would be "super, super down" for a battle with WBA lightweight champion Gervonta Davis, but he would have slim down after fighting heavyweight Tyson.

Despite this, Davis would be a tough opponent after winning all his 30 professional bouts, 28 of which by knockout. It's 3/1 he faces off against Davis next, and it's 4/1 he takes on Francis Ngannou.

Following the Paul-Tyson fight, Ngannou wrote on X.

But Paul has set his sights on the huge challenge of taking on unified super-middleweight champion Canelo Alvarez instead.

Following the Tyson bout, he told the Daily Mail newspaper: "That's the move, right? That's what everyone wants to see, I think. I want a bigger challenge."

A battle with Alvarez will be more than a "bigger challenge" for Paul, so much so that it looks fairly unrealistic and is 6/1 to happen next. However, money talks.

Paul added, "Canelo needs me, so I'm not even going to try and call him out. He's going to want a payday, and I want to show the world all the [stuff] I've been talking about beating Canelo is true, and I'll have the biggest upset in the history of boxing."

Another massive challenge for Jake would be facing off against Artur Beterbiev (8/1). The cruiserweight champion has won all 21 of his fights—and 20 of them by knockout.

Artur Beterbiev

After Beterbiev messaged Jake on social media to say he was "always open" to fight suggestions, Paul replied, "The top five pound-for-pound fighter in the world calling me out. Hahahahahaha. Four years in, and I run this sport"

What's more, Paul has challenged Conor McGregor to an MMA battle, but he hasn't competed since 2021, so it looks unlikely, but he could face off against Nate Diaz—who he beat in the boxing ring last year—in an MMA bout.

Following the Tyson fight, Carl Froch challenged Paul, saying on his Froch on Fighting YouTube channel: "I will tie one arm behind my back and finish you for good."

But Jake hit back on X, writing, "Shut the f*** up. I've done more in four years than you have in your life." However, a Froch-Paul bout looks unlikely at 16/1.

Jake and Logan to Face Off

One potential bout that looks more likely would be for Jake to take on his own brother Logan. Jake's business partner, Nakisa Bidarian, recently admitted he "wouldn't be surprised" if the fight happened.

Tony Bellew

Speaking on The Ariel Helwani Show, he said, "I think maybe that's something Logan would like to happen.

"Jake, for the first time, is probably ahead of his brother in terms of reach, in terms of awareness, in terms of popularity, in terms of engagement. And I think from a Logan perspective, who is ultra-competitive, there is that tension.

"There is that, 'My baby brother is taking over and I need to teach him a lesson.' So, I wouldn't be surprised if that came to fruition at all."

However, if the pair were to box one another in the near future, Jake would surely be the heavy favourite to win. WWE star Logan has fought four times, drawing and then losing to KSI, beating Dillon Danis, and he faced Floyd Mayweather in an exhibition.

The Logan-Jake battle even came close to happening. Earlier this year, Logan suggested he would step in to fight his sibling when Tyson pulled out of the original July-billed fight against Jake.

However, Netflix opted to wait until Tyson, who admitted after the fight he "almost died" in June after undergoing eight blood transfusions, had recovered from an ulcer flare-up in his stomach.

Jake recently admitted he is up for taking on his brother.

He said on Logan's podcast, "I'll fight you. Why not? You're f****** tiny." Logan replied, "I feel like ruining my little brother's boxing career would be so bad and mean."

It's 2/1 that the Pauls face off against one another next.

Paul vs. Tyson II

But if he doesn't fight his brother next, then who might Logan take on?

While Logan has a long-term deal with WWE and doesn't look like returning to boxing anytime soon, if he does step back in the ring, then it could pave the way for another Paul vs. Tyson bought.

Following Jake's defeat of Iron Mike, Tyson teased the possibility of going up against the other Paul brother.

But Logan, who is known as The Maverick, said to him, "I'd kill you, Mike."

One way this could come to fruition is if Tyson stepped into a WWE ring to wrestle Logan, and it's Evens that Logan battles Tyson next. However, Logan's Tyson comments haven't gone down well with everyone connected to boxing.

Former British boxer Tony Bellew wrote on X: "Why be so disrespectful, Logan Paul?? ‘ I’d kill you' do these idiots understand what the real Mike Tyson would do to them?" he fumed.

"He’d beat them so bad they would beg for him to stop! Saying you’d kill a grandfather is tough isn’t it (sic)"

Could Bellew take on Logan next?

It's 10/1 for Logan to face Bellew in the ring, but other potential upcoming fights could see Logan have a rematch with Fury (5/1) or go up against KSI (7/1) for a third time—but both of those ships appear to have now sailed.
