The DraftKings Casino brand is expanding its online gaming options.
White Hat Studios agreed to a deal to provide iGaming offerings in five states: New Jersey, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Connecticut and Michigan.
The company's agreement with DraftKings includes real money online gaming such as slot machines, jackpot slots and RNG (random number generator) table games. White Hat Studios is a component of White Hat Gaming, which has offices in Chicago, London, South Africa, Gibraltar and Malta.
Some of the titles that White Hat offers include Ted, Deal or No Deal and Peaky Blinders. Many White Hat games are already available in Europe.
“We’re incredibly excited to partner with one of North America’s most influential and forward-thinking operators in DraftKings, who are a leader in bringing the latest content to the market,” White Hat Studios CEO Andy Whitworth said in a news release. “This is a huge step for us as we continue our expansion. We can’t wait to see our content go live with them.”
Michigan is one of the newest states to offer online gaming real money options and last month it agreed to join a multi-state gaming agreement for online poker. That means Michigan online poker players can compete against players in Delaware, Nevada and New Jersey.
The agreement with DraftKings is the latest advance for White Hat as it seeks to carve out a larger piece of the U.S. iGaming market.
In March, the company agreed to a deal with FanDuel Casino to offer its online products there. FanDuel and DraftKings are battling for online casino as well as daily fantasy and sports betting supremacy across the United States and even in Canada, where both companies are now operating in Ontario.
That same month, White Hat agreed to a deal with BetMGM for online casino content there as well.
Last year, White Hat made an asset purchase of Blueprint Gaming’s online wagering options.
